Late Summer
Restorative Yoga Workshop
Sea Space Hotel, Porth
Sat 13th Sept 2025 | 1.30-3.30pm
£30 includes tea + homemade vegan cake
A chance to slow down and ground after the high energy of Summer, in the beautiful sea view yurt, The Zen Den 🛖🌊
What's involved?
🌀 Gentle mindful movement and soothing breathwork to ease out any restlessness and tension in the body and mind.
😌 Deliciously restful restorative poses. These are floor-based positions, where I will guide you to support your body with lots of lovely blankets, bolsters and blocks. The idea is to get the body as comfy as possible to allow the mind and nervous system to soften.
🍰 We will end with tea and homemade vegan cake as always! Please let me know if you have any dietary requirements :)
The Theme 🌾
We will explore the themes of Late Summer from Traditional Chinese Medicine and Seasonal Yoga. This includes grounding and re-centering ourselves after the outwards high energy of Summer. We will also explore the stomach and spleen meridians (energy pathways) of the body and very gently stretch along these lines which run along the front of the body and the inner legs.
We will also explore how we can open our heart to befriending ourselves and others from a grounded and resourced place through anchoring and befriending meditation in the stiller poses.
Who is this for?
These workshops are a special opportunity for safely held resting and reflection time to take care of yourself as Summer comes to an end 🌅
These workshops are very very gentle so are potentially great for anyone who is postnatal, recovering from illness/ injury or with limited mobility. If you aren't sure send me a message. 👍
Accessibility
There is parking right outside the Zen Den although it is a grassy field and uneven terrain to get to the Zen Den and there is no disabled loo but a portaloo a very short walk from the Yurt.
Cancellation Policy
I understand that plans may change, if you cancel 75 hours before the workshop you will receive a full refund. However, we do ask that you give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel.
