🌀 Weekly live online mindful movement (Based on yoga and chi kung) and meditation sessions.

⏰ The live session times will be at 6-7pm on Wed for first 7 weeks (first session 15th Oct) Then the times/days will change.
🏠 The first 7 weeks will introduce the foundational mindfulness practices of anchoring, the body scan, breath, sounds and thoughts and working with difficulties.
🤿 After first 7 weeks we will dive into a deeper seasonal mindfulness theme for 4-6 weeks for example mindful communication.
🧘🏽 Weekly practice suggestions and journalling prompts.

📅 The schedule for first 7 weeks
Please try your best to join all the first 7 sessions or watch the recordings consecutively, especially if you are new to mindfulness meditation or have very little experience of it.

Connecting with intentions and the community ❇️
Reflecting on our motivations for cultivating mindfulness in our lives and connecting with the community.
Week 2️⃣ - Wed 22nd Oct 6-7pm
Autopilot to conscious awareness ✈️
Switching from autopilot mode to being present to the moment with body and breath meditation and mindful movement.
Week 3️⃣ - Wed 29th Oct 6-7pm
Reconnecting with the body 🏠
Stepping out of thinking about and analysing our bodies to physically sensing them without judgement. Practicing the body scan meditation and mindful movement.
Week 4️⃣ - Wed 5th Nov 6-7pm
Attitudinal foundations ⛰️
The spirit in which we practice is just as important as the practice itself, moving from unhelpful striving to allowing with the walking meditation and mindful yoga.
Week 5️⃣ - Wed 12th Nov 6-7pm
Thoughts as mental events 💭
Exploring our relationship to thoughts and sounds with mindful movement and sounds and thoughts meditation.
Week 6️⃣ - Wed 19th Nov 6-7pm
Turning towards difficulty ⛰️
Gently finding different and empowering ways to work with difficulties in our practice and lives with mindful movement and exploring difficulties meditation.
Week 7️⃣ - Wed 26th Nov 6-7pm
Appreciating the life we have 🫶
Taking care of ourselves with an appreciation meditation and mindful movement.
After the first 7 weeks the live call time may change and we will have a new 4-6week theme tbc.

- You are experiencing intense mental health difficulties or life challenges this probably isn’t the right fit for you at this time so please be in touch to ask if you aren’t sure. It may be more personalised support would be appropriate as a starting point, especially if you are new to the practice.
- If you are looking for talking therapy. This is not a space for talking about your past or current personal difficulties or traumatic experiences as you would in talking therapy. Our teaching is trauma-informed but it is not trauma therapy.
