Slow Down and Ground 
 -  Meditation + Movement Evening 

Thursday 6th July | 6.30-8.30pm

In-person | Pennans Roundhouse, Mount Rose, TR4 9PP 

£25 - Includes a sweet treat and tea

This is an opportunity to ground and re-centre yourself as we move into the heady days of full Summer. The evening will involve mindfulness meditation and movement and a chance to ask questions or share experiences of your practice (absolutely no pressure to). Open to beginners to mindfulness and meditation and those with experience. The movement will be gentle and all standing and can be adapted to be done in a chair. â€‹

During the evening you will…

 

  • Learn simple mindfulness practices to ground and stabilise your attention and energy you can weave into your day. 

​

  • Flow through some gentle and uplifting qi gong mindful movement.

​

  • Connect with community and nature. 

​

  • Explore how mindfulness meditation can support our mental well-being in the busy-ness of Summer. 

​

  • Enjoy a cup or two of delicious herbal tea and a sweet treat at the end.

​

  • Take away some practices to try at home.

​​

This workshop is for you if...

 

  • You are new to mindfulness meditation and want to learn how it could benefit you. 

​

  • You have an existing practice and would like some inspiration and self-care time. 

​

  • You have a little experience with meditation but would like to deepen your understanding.

Important workshop information...

 

  • If you have any accessibility needs please let me know and I will try my best to support you. The toilet is a short walk up a hill but you can pull a car up quite close to the space and it has only a small step to access.

​

  • There is no pressure to speak but there will be invitations to share and ask questions.

​

  • Please bring any equipment you have to sit on like a meditation cushion but I will have blocks and yoga mats and few cushions for those that don't.

​

  •  Please let me know if you have any dietry requirement for the sweet treat.

​
