Free Mindfulness Taster Session

Wondering what this mindfulness malarky is all about or want to see if my style of teaching is for you? Then come along to this free taster session.

 

This will be a really practical session with a chance to get stuck in with some mindful movement and meditation.

😌 You want to learn how to actually rest, physically and mentally. 

💫 You want to cultivate more kindness towards yourself and others.

The session includes: 

❇️ Mindfulness myth busting.

🔀 How to switch from driven doing 'go go go' mode to restful being mode.

🌀 Mindful movement.

🧘🏽 Mindfulness meditation. 

💬 Teacher-led practice reflection and question time (no need to share - it can be just as powerful to simply listen) 

🌱 Who is this for?

This workshop is open to beginners and those who have practiced before.

You are all welcome, all genders, ages, sexualities, economic backgrounds, all cultural heritages and ancestries, people with disabilities seen and unseen, neurodiverse and neurotypical folks. Please let me know if you have particular needs you would like me to be aware of. 

🪑 Accessibility

The movement can be practiced in a chair and will be suitable for those who are pregnant, postpartum or with limited mobility.

❓ Who is this not for?

If you are experiencing intense mental health difficulties right now, this style of container may not be right for you (especially if you are new to mindfulness), I would advise getting the okay from a mental health professional before joining or contacting me first.

Important workshop information...

 

🌊 This workshop will take place on Zoom and if possible I will request that you have your camera on to support group connection. ​

🌊 There is no pressure to speak but there will be invitations to share via your voice or the chat box.

🌊 The workshop will be available to join live and I will send you the recording which will be available to watch for 7 days after the live session.

It was so good - I loved the idea of not forcing the calm and finding it naturally. My whole body feels gently awakened this morning and my mind relaxed - so a pretty perfect start to the day!
